Here is where we try to put some quick answers together to help you during your purchase of Packaging Supplies from Richards Packaging.

Order FAQs

I'm a bit stuck, can I place my order over the phone?
We are not just an internet website.  You can place your order by phone, or drop into our Trade Counter which is based in Redditch, Worcestershire.
How long will it take for Richards Packaging to send my order?
We always endeavor to send out customer orders the same day, as long as you have placed your order before 1pm.  The rest is down to the delivery type you select, then it's down to the couriers or Royal Mail to delivery your items in the allotted time frame.
How long before I get delivery of my order?

This very much depends on the method of delivery that you have chosen.  If you place your order before 1pm and you have paid for next day, it will be with you on the next business day.

If you have opted for free delivery, the normal delivery time is 5 working days.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payments by credit and debit cards via Shopify Payment Gateway, PayPal, Cheque or bank transfer.  Your funds will need to be cleared in our bank before we dispatch the goods.  Card and PayPal transaction are the fastest way of paying and getting your order fully processed.

We also accept Cash if you visit our Trade Counter in Redditch.

If you wish to open an account, please give us a call on 01527 515015.  We will need to perform our due diligence before allowing accounts to be authorised.

How is carriage charged on my order?

We do not make any profit margin on our the delivery costs.  We use an algorithm based on the courier charges to us.  This is weight based.  The heavier the goods, the higher the costs.

Some packaging materials are very light, which might make you think that our prices are expensive.  This is because our select courier partner has to then charge based on volume.  After all, a roll of bubble wrap can be huge and yet has a very small relative weight.

Do you deliver internationally?
We do, but we do not tend to take these orders online.  If you would like to buy from us, but are not based in the UK, please call us on +44 1527 515015 and we can arrange the best shipping costs for you.
Will you notify me when my order is being dispatched?
Yes, once we have passed the order to the courier, an email will be sent letting you know.
Do you accept returns?

Sure.  If there is a problem with your order please contact us as soon as possible.  We prefer happy customers, so would like to get your a solution to your problem ASAP.  

For non-custom items, returns need to be in their original packaging and undamaged.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Should your order be damaged please notify us immediately.  We'll look into this and rectify it as soon as we can!  We 
My order has not arrived?
Firstly, we're sorry to hear that.  Please call us with your order reference and we'll get onto tracking it for you.
